Pursuant to Article 17 Law on Scientific Activity and technological development (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbian” No. 6/12), Article 10 of the Ordinance on the award of scholarships to students of the first cycle of studies at universities in Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and universities abroad code: 66/11 from 30.06.2011. year, and Article II of the Decision on Education Fund, “Dr Milan Jelic” (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbian” no. 35/11), Ministry of Science and Technology announced

PUBLIC CALL
for scholarships to students from the first cycle of studies at universities
the Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and in universities
abroad in the academic 2012/2013.

                                                                                                                I

Ministry of Science and Technology announces competition for scholarships from the Fund Dr Milan Jelic regular students of the first cycle at the universities of Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and in universities abroad for the academic 2012/2013. year, as follows:
total of 110 scholarships for students from the first cycle, of which 75 scholarships to students at universities in the Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and 35 scholarships to students who study at universities abroad.
Of the total planned number (75 scholarships) for students who study cycles and at the universities of Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be awarded for:
– 16 scholarships to students of technical sciences,
– 14 scholarships to students of natural science;
– 12 scholarships to students of medical and health sciences,
– 12 scholarships to students in agricultural sciences
– 10 scholarships to students of social science,
– 6 scholarships to students of humanities and
– 5 scholarships to art students.

Regular monthly amount of scholarships to students from the first cycle at the universities of Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the academic 2012/2013. amounted to 400.00 (four hundred) Km, in line with available funds in the budget of the Ministry of Science and Technology Fund Dr Milan Jelic.
Regular monthly amount of scholarships to students from the first cycle to universities abroad in the academic 2012/2013. amounted to 800.00 (1/800) KM, according to available funds in the budget of the Ministry of Science and Technology Fund Dr Milan Jelic.

III

Eligible for a scholarship from the Fund Dr Milan Jelic have regular cycles and students at universities in the Republic of Serbian and Bosnia and Herzegovina and universities abroad, under the following conditions:
– Be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina / Republika Serbian;
– Has a permanent place of residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbian;
– That a full-time student;
– That in the current study did not renew any school year;
– That is not older than 25 years and
– Has a grade point average higher than 9.00 (including an average rating of 9.00) for students who are studying at univerzitetina in the RS and BiH, that has a grade point average higher than 9.50 (including an average rating of 9.50 ) for students studying abroad.

IV

Criteria are scored for the students from the first cycle of university in the Republic of Serbian and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and students from the first cycle in universities abroad are:
– Points awarded to a candidate based on average scores are:
Average h 10 (rounded to one decimal place)
– Points awarded to a candidate based on his years of study are:
Second year of study additional 1 point;
third year of study additional 2 points;
fourth year of study additional 3 points;
fifth year of study
additional 4 points and
sixth year of study additional 5 points
– Points awarded to a candidate based on all exams passed from the previous school year – an additional 1 point.

Additional criteria related to extracurricular activities that are scored separately: an article published in an international journal which is on the SCI (ISI) list (10 points); published scientific books (monographs) of international importance (10 points); peer reviewed and published scientific books of national significance (9 points); participation in international scientific conference (outbound) with published work (8 points); participation in domestic scientific conference with published work (7 points); work published in national journals and categories, indexed journal from Bosnia and former JU Republic (7 points); work published in national journals II and Category III (4 points); accepted patent (6 points); participation in international competitions (exhibitions, festivals) and his Awards (I, II and III place) – only for students from the fields of architecture and art (5 points); participation in domestic competitions (exhibitions, festivals), the republic and the state level and his Awards (I, II and III place) – only for students in the field of architecture and art (3 points); participation the international student symposium abroad with published work (2 points); participation at the national student symposium with published work (1 point).

As evidence of the fulfillment of the conditions specified in Section III, and IV of the Competition, students and cycles are required to submit:
– Certificate of citizenship;
– Birth Certificate;
– Original certificate of place of residence, which was issued after the publication of the public
competition;
– Confirmation that a full-time student status and was not renewed any academic year at universities in the Republic of Serbian / Bosnia and Herzegovina or in universities abroad;
– Confirmation of the amount of the average score, which must be greater than 9.00 (including the average score 9.00) in universities in the Republic of Serbian / Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the average score, which must be greater than 9.50 (including the average grade 9 , 50) for students at universities abroad);
– Confirmation that he has passed all the exams from previous years (only for students who meet this requirement)
– Transcript of all examinations passed and
– Evidence of regularly enrolled year of study.

As evidence of the fulfillment of the conditions referred to in point V, with students attending on international and domestic student scientific conferences, as well as other scientific and technical conferences attach separate papers published or reviewed and published scientific book / monograph and confirmation of the accepted patent issued by the Patent Office. As proof of winning prizes in international and domestic competitions (exhibitions, festivals), students graduating attached for winning the I, II or III position.
If students are already receiving a scholarship fund, they get extra points on the basis of article V of this competition, the additional credits they can be awarded only on the basis of the presence of new works or conferences or participation in competitions (exhibitions, festivals), which had not previously been the subject of ratings.
Subject of review can only work and certificates of awards that are not older than 3 years.
Students who are studying abroad, and submitting documents in a foreign language, the same should be submitted in original along with a certified translation into one of the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

VII

Evidence of fulfillment of the conditions mentioned in the previous article (except citizenship and excerpts from birth) must be original or certified copies of not more than 3 (three) months.

VIII

The contest remains open for 30 days from the date of publication.
